As a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering community, education, and excellence in parkour, we are excited to announce our fundraising campaign raising money for the 2024 National Competition prize money pool. 

USPK is the American governing body for parkour, dedicated to promoting and supporting the growth of parkour in the United States. Through educational resources, community events, and competitions, we aim to provide opportunities for practitioners of all levels to engage with and excel in the sport. Our vision is to cultivate a vibrant and inclusive parkour community that celebrates athleticism, creativity, and resilience.

As a volunteer-led organization, activities like these would not be possible without your support. Help us continue to forward our mission.

Building on last year’s success
Here are some of the highlights:

2024 has been a significant year for us! Here are some key achievements:

• • 2nd ever USPK National Competition: Continued to grow our national parkour competition circuit, with six regions hosting over 25 events leading to the national championship in Pharr, TX with a total prize pool of $13,000 for winning athletes.
  • Insurance for Athletes: Partnered with Spot Insurance to provide personal injury coverage for athletes and event insurance for over 200 participants across various events.

• Build Safety Standards & Quote Negotiations for General Liability Insurance: The USPK Build Committee created Build Safety Recommendations that USPK shared the document with our general liability insurance broker, who successfully negotiated a quote from an underwriter. This is a significant step forward, as it’s the first time we’ve received a quote for our proposed nationwide general liability coverage. However, the quote does not fully meet our needs, and we are continuing negotiations.

• Virtual Business Conference: Last November, we hosted our first online conference focused on business practices in the parkour industry, featuring key industry leaders.

Looking Ahead to 2025

As we plan for the upcoming year, we aim to build on our momentum and achieve even more. Here’s how your support can help:

Offerings For Individuals:

• • Develop an events calendar and discounts for events: USPK will continue to foster partnerships with parkour jams nationwide, and collaborate with events to offer registration discounts to USPK members.
  • Expand the National Competition Circuit: With the success of this year’s events, we’ll continue to develop a pathway for athletes to reach national and international stages. Over 30 gyms will be hosting local competitions that will feed into 6 regional finals, and 1 national championship. Our competition circuit continues to be a qualifying event to Sport Parkour League International Championships. 

• Fiscal Sponsorship for Events: This year we are excited to announce that USPK will be sponsoring Women’s Parkour Gathering and Obsidian Gathering!

Offerings for Businesses:

• General Liability Insurance for Gym Members: We’re continuing negotiations with our broker and working to launch a nationwide group insurance policy to provide parkour gyms with comprehensive coverage and competitive rates.
• First In-Person Business Conference: Building on the success of 2024’s virtual business conference, we plan to run USPK’s first in-person conference this coming year.

Improving Operations:

• Hire USPK’s first ever Employees: Hiring dedicated staff for membership coordination and marketing allows USPK to build consistent, professional outreach and engagement, ensuring that these critical functions receive the time and expertise they need, which volunteers with limited time, such as board members, cannot fully provide.
