USPK Highlights: Celebrating Our Community & Mid-Year Wins

Hello US Parkour Community! As we enter the third quarter of 2026, we want to recap, celebrate, and highlight what has been going on in Q2.
Scholarships for Nationals
Thanks to careful long-term budgeting and four years of building our National Championships, USPK was proud to provide $2,758 in athlete scholarships for the 2026 event. Supporting our community directly is a major milestone, and we look forward to expanding scholarship opportunities in future seasons!
Youth National Championships at Woodward PA
The youth are the future of our sport, and this year we were able to have our first Youth National Championships! By partnering with Woodward to offer a parkour camp, athletes are able to meet fellow competitors their ages from across the country and receive coaching from professional parkour practitioners.
Thank you to Woodward for their support, and congrats to all athletes that got to attend this event!
Fiscal Sponsorship
Non-competitive events are the heart of parkour culture.
To help community leaders scale their events with confidence, USPK offers fiscal sponsorship to handle backend logistics and give organizers access to non-profit benefits without the administrative burden. Participating events gain access to tax-deductible fundraising, grant eligibility, upfront venue funding, and full backend support for taxes, bookkeeping, and registration software.
This partnership gives community leaders the legal backing, administrative resources, and marketing reach of a national organization to take their events to the next level.

USPK was proud to fiscally sponsor the Women’s Parkour Gathering as well as both the East and West Obsidian Gatherings.
Women’s Parkour Gathering
Held in Atlanta, Georgia, the May 2026 Women’s Parkour Gathering brought the community together for jams and workshops across the city. WPKM also hosted the first-ever Women’s USPK Competition Qualifier at Atlanta Parkour, offering a direct pathway for athletes to qualify for their Regional Championships.
Obsidian Gathering: East and West
June featured back-to-back Obsidian Gatherings in Baltimore, MD, and San Francisco, CA. Built as an inclusive space celebrating Black Pride, these events brought athletes together over two weekends to jam, train, and build community on both coasts.
Upcoming Event: Art of Retreat
In September, Art of Retreat will be held in Lebanon, PA!
This three-day leadership conference brings together professional practitioners from across the US for deep conversations, collaborative learning, and meaningful connection.

International Competition Events
The 2026 competition season has concluded for the US, but there are two international events fast approaching!

One of parkour’s premier international events returns for another incredible weekend!

Parkour Earth 2026:
Oct 28th-Nov 2nd
