USPK Announces Dani Fitchett as New Treasurer
March 19th, 2025
The United States Parkour Association (USPK) is thrilled to welcome Dani Fitchett to the Board of Directors as our new Treasurer. With a deep-rooted passion for the parkour community and extensive experience in gym ownership and financial management, Dani brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to the USPK leadership team.
Dani has been a vital part of the parkour community since opening her gym, Infinite Movement Academy, in 2017. She has since witnessed the sport’s remarkable growth and is committed to ensuring that USPK continues to advance parkour in a way that stays true to its core values. She states, “I’m excited about USPK’s mission to serve as the governing body for parkour, giving our community a collective voice while promoting the sport’s growth and protecting its core values. When I opened my gym in 2017, there wasn’t a centralized support system for parkour owners; we had to rely on social media to connect with a handful of others. Over the past eight years, it’s been incredible to witness the sport’s tremendous growth, and I’m honored to help USPK ensure we continue to advance parkour in a way that resonates with the community.”
During the 2020 pandemic, Dani jumped right into helping World Chase Tag (WCT) navigate their inaugural US-event by serving as a referee. She has since worked as a WCT team coordinator to lead all international teams to the WCT6 Championships held in Evry, one of parkour’s birthplaces. “I have a personal connection to competitions, especially from my time bringing my gym team to the West Coast Region events. These competitions foster camaraderie and allow athletes to challenge themselves while celebrating each other’s achievements. I look forward to supporting the 2025 events and helping to prepare for the 2026 competitions.”
The USPK Board continues to expand a leadership team that will widen the organization’s role for the parkour community. “As treasurer, my goal is to alleviate some of the burden from the other board members by streamlining processes and ensuring our financials are organized, accurate, and timely, enabling the board to make informed decisions.” Dani’s experience in both business operations and community engagement will be invaluable as USPK continues to expand its reach and develop parkour on a national scale. Please join us in welcoming Dani to the team!
