Direction on Transgender Athlete Participation in 2025
February 12th, 2025
🗣️ To the Parkour Community:
We want to address the recent concerns regarding the executive order from the Trump administration banning trans women from participating in sports. Please be assured that this does not apply to USPK’s 2025 competition circuit.
The executive order only affects federally funded programs, such as college sports and schools, which are subject to Title IX regulations. USPK, however, is a nonprofit organization that does not receive any federally funded programs and is not subject to these regulations.
At USPK, inclusion is a core value, and parkour has always been an inclusive sport for gender minorities. Our policy is clear: Trans and nonbinary athletes are welcome to participate in any division of their choice for the entire competitive season. We do not require any hormone testing, gender confirmation, or doping tests for participation.
We are always open to feedback and encourage community engagement. This policy applies for the 2025 competition season, and we are committed to supporting all athletes. You can read our full Trans Inclusion Policy and how this decision was made here.
If you have any concerns, please feel free to bring them to our Ethics Committee. Our reporting procedure can be found here.
