Introducing your Board Candidate: Brandy Jean

Dear USPK Members,

On behalf of the USPK Board of Directors, we are excited to announce the official vetted and approved candidate for the first-ever United States Parkour (USPK) Board of Directors election! This is a pivotal moment for our organization, and we thank all members who demonstrated their commitment to our community-led future by submitting a nomination packet.

We confirm that Brandy Jean is the sole approved candidate who met the comprehensive eligibility requirements laid out in the Official 2025 USPK Board of Directors Election Guide for the open Board position(s).

Candidate Spotlight: Brandy Jean

Brandy brings over 30 years of experience leading corporate teams and government programs, coupled with a deep, personal commitment to the parkour community as a competitive athlete and a dedicated supporter. She holds a degree in Organizational Leadership and Management and has applied these skills to help local parkour communities flourish.

Why Brandy Jean is running:

“I understand not only the heart of an athlete but the necessity to appropriately scale a sport that is rapidly growing and changing. I will use stamina and grit to push the collective community voices forward to have a seat at any table. I will bring fairness to competition by assisting with rules that also can lend themselves to revenue and bringing in top athletes. USPK will be what our future world will know as true parkour in the United States.”

Brandy’s Core Vision for USPK:
Brandy’s vision centers on cultivating a nationwide community where parkour is respected and accessible for all. Her core pillars focus on:

  • Changing Perception: Shifting parkour’s reputation from a high-risk activity toward one known for safe, mindful, and progressive foundational training.
  • Inclusivity & Accessibility: Ensuring parkour is welcoming for all ages and backgrounds, removing barriers like cost and access to training spaces.
  • Stewardship of Space: Fostering a national ethic of respect for all practice areas and promoting positive civic engagement.
  • Growth & Competition: Building a foundation that supports both youth development and the expansion of the professional competitive circuit.

What’s Next: The Confirmation Process
Since Brandy Jean is the sole approved candidate, the voting process will serve as a confirmation of her election to the Board of Directors, as per our bylaws. Your opportunity to engage with the candidate is still important.

  • Confirmation Vote Period Begins: Tuesday, December 2nd

  • Confirmation Vote Period Closes: 11:59 PM PDT on December 22, 2025
  • Results Announced: January 3, 2026
